In Search

The lady journeyed from afar
In search for the Truths reservoir
The Mystic came with rose in hand
Like a cloak of love as destiny planned
He took the lady’s hand and led her ashore
The quest of love and life he did restore
He gave her pearls from the depths of the ocean
Flames of love within her heart was set in motion
As they made love in the celestial sky
And eternity unhurriedly passed them by
The moon shone a grace of ice cold light
As the stars sparkled in the velvet of the night
Tears that glistened in her eyes he did gently wipe away
Their love grew with each conceived light of the dawning day
The lady and the Mystic live their life by the beauty of ancient laws
Intoxicated by the dance of love they Spiral through Heavens doors
Hand in hand their star merges into eternity.

A pondering Sufi message on yesterdays post

Pondering

Sufi Message

Rather than wanting to master others, therefore, let us start by working on ourselves. Let us stop wondering what others could do for us, but rather ask ourselves what we could do for others. What could we really do for others? This question is already answered when we realize that the first effort to be made is to vanquish our own shortcomings, doubts, fears and worries, and to put into practice the basic principles of love, harmony and beauty, accommodating these to all circumstances.

Beggar or Prince?

Beggar or Prince?
I walk the littered and unswept streets of home
Every step I take in my silence amidst the drone
A face of joy, a face of weeping sorrow
Where will the bread come from the morrow?
The beggar free from attachments and worldly ways
Freedom is his whole life a lonely soul that strays
Amongst the men of rich and opulent suits
Adorned with garbage, money their tasteless fruits
The drunk intoxicated lost days of illusions
Sailing on a sea of empty bottles with no conclusions
The man with a drug filled syringe shooting highs
Whilst his inner soul glances, weeps and cries
He is a lost and lonely soul that roams the land
Reaching out for the highest spiritual helping hand
Not really knowing what is within that is so profound
A past memory hidden patiently waiting to be found
We are all roses in this great world of tormented and twisted thorns
Respect for all our brothers and sisters that are here to be reborn
Let us remember that we do not know who the beggar is
Beneath the pain, he is the prince and Heaven is his.
Quotes:

“When you share your last crust of bread with a beggar, you mustn't behave as if you were throwing a bone to a dog. You must give humbly, and thank him for allowing you to have a part in his hunger.”
Funvini
Giovanni Guareschi quote
I try to give to the poor people for love what the rich could get for money. No, I wouldn't touch a leper for a thousand pounds; yet I willingly cure him for the love of God. Mother Teresa
It is a kingly act to assist the fallen. Mother Teresa
It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish. Mother Teresa
It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. Mother Teresa
Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go. Mother Teresa

Be yourself ...

myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphics

Ponderings

We all want to be accepted for who we really are.
You do not have to be anything but yourself ... only change what you do not like about yourself, on doing so this will enhance your life. Everyone is a unique being. So be true to yourself and be yourself. Those who do not accept you for who you are ... Let go.

We can hurt our self by listening to the talking voice inside our mind, which can distort the real truth from us. Distortion can lead you to loosing your freedom.
Your feelings are real ... what we perceive causes emotions. Emotions causes reactions which is the effect. Thus, we make judgements upon our self and on others from what we believe.
Our judgments can be of hate, jealousy and selfishness.

Distortions we create in our mind ... which we believe to be true ... And are not, and thus, takes our freedom away from us.
We can abuse our self as much others can ... But even in the case of others abusing us in whatever way it is within the situation ... We can still turn that round should we choose to ignore it ... And instead believe in our self ... Faith and love. Forgiveness plays a huge part in healing and allowing clarity to enter our thoughts.

There seems to be a whole knock on effect when we choose to listen to lies about our self. If we believe them ... We become them. We can listen to people attentively ... but, we can choose not to believe what people say. If we allow it to seep into our minds ... And distort our dream ... We are then filled with emotions.
You will come across daily valid nourishment for you ... A gift ... If you are aware of it ... That you can choose to feed your soul. Valid nourishment will enhance your life ... Lies will not.
You can make that choice ... For you will know that truth just is.

I have chosen Love as an example ... It is here where we judge our self more. It is here where we constantly create more pain.

Every time I love, my heart is broken. This is not true, because nobody can break your heart if you love yourself. If your heart was broken in the past, you broke it with the lies you believed about love. Love makes you strong; selfishness makes you weak. Love doesn't hurt. What hurts is the fear, selfishness, and control that come from the lies you believe in. If you no longer believe in lies, automatically love starts coming out of you.
Emotional pain is a symptom of being abused; the pain is letting you know that you have to do something to stop the abuse. The emotions are the most important part of our dream because they are telling you how you are doing in your life. By following your emotions, you can change your circumstances.

Not to be able to stop thinking is a dreadful affliction, but we don't realize this because almost everyone is suffering from it, so it is considered normal. This incessant mental noise prevents you from finding that realm of inner stillness that is inseparable from Being.

Essence of Love

myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphics

These recent days seem to span into each other
Like a river which flows into the sea
Only the moon and stars tell me the day has ended
And the sweetness of birds that chirp at dawn
tell me a new day has been born.
The blanket of the night covered me like the cloak of love
As I walked the streets of home
My breath and shadow took up company with me
Not leaving me alone
The black velvet space transfixed me
As if I was under the Illusionist, mystified and mesmerized
Gazing up at the stars that sparkled bright
Divine burts of spleandor in the sky
immortalized
Each sparkle carried the essence of your love.
I love you my Beloved.

Quotes on Stars

When it is darkest, men see the stars.
Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes

To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your own path, and don't worry about the darkness, for that is when the stars shine brightest

God's promises are like the stars; the darker the night the brighter they shine
David Nicholas quotes

Natures Ways.

Natures Ways

How wonderful natures beauty can be
Reflecting God's sacred love for all to see
How grateful I am that I have eyes that can gaze
Upon the changing seasons ways
That I can feel the breeze, blowing in my hair
A feeling of freedom and free of care
To gaze upon a soft moving cloud
Towering white galleons that look so proud
Vivid visions of everything aglow
Comes the showers, then a colourful rainbow
Minstral of love delights the earth with a kiss
Upon the ever constant moving ocean of bliss

Quotes on nature.

Anne Frank:
The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.

Claude Monet:
The richness I achieve comes from Nature, the source of my inspiration.

Galileo:
The sun, with all those plants revolving around it and dependent upon it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.

Henry David Thoreau:
If a man walks in the woods for love of them half of each day, he is in danger of being regarded as a loafer. But if he spends his days as a speculator, shearing off those woods and making the earth bald before her time, he is deemed an industrious and enterprising citizen.

Luther Burbank:
A flower is an educated weed.

Make your dream a reality

Make your dream a reality

don't allow your fears

to enter and lead you into the abyss of self doubt

where your dream will dissolve into the sea of what might of been.

fear comes with a penalty

within the fear you feel safe

it is an illusion

because you lose your freedom

Let Love be your guide

actions is your safety

within the safe Hands of God

and gently allow your dream to unfold.

Live your dreams.

The journey of apathy is resolved by seeing the import, the journey of futility is resolved by seeing the value, and the journey of fear is resolved by seeing the strength within, for all fear is a fear that one is unable to deal with what is ahead. (Master S.)

Don Miguel Ruiz:
Death is not the biggest fear we have; our biggest fear is taking the risk to be alive -- the risk to be alive and express what we really are.

Dorothy Thompson:
Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to live.

Eleanor Roosevelt:
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.

Jane Addams:
Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we often might win, by fearing to attempt.

May write a post about dreams.

Dream Quotes

Anais Nin:
Dreams pass into the reality of action. From the actions stems the dream again; and this interdependence produces the highest form of living.

Dom Helder Camara:
When we are dreaming alone it is only a dream. When we are dreaming with others, it is the beginning of reality.

Henry David Thoreau:
I have learned, that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.

Hobbes (of Calvin and ...):
I think we dream so we don't have to be apart so long. If we're in each others dreams, we can be together all the time.

Anatole France:
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.

Walking and Climbing.

Sunday afternoon took me out with my camera.
Here it shows you how the moods of the weather changed from being still to vivacious and wild.

Blackstone Edge is a bleak rocky outcrop overlooking the Lancashire towns of Rochdale and Littleborough to the north east of the Manchester conurbation.
The A58 passes close by, en route from Halifax and Sowerby Bridge in West Yorkshire's Bronte Country.

Water and Sky

I wondered as a lonely cloud

Moods of weather

Sun trying to smile
through the clouds
that tumbled down
silently caressing the earth
like the Divine Lover
that gently strokes
the spine of the horizon
sitting on a rock
pondering and
gazing into the eyes of nature
a glimpse of the sun
and a sudden outburst of laughter
filled the heavens
the mood changed
and dropped a shroud
and bequethed us with a frown
Are we not like the moods of the weather?
Quotes:
It is one of the secrets of Nature in its mood of mockery that fine weather lays heavier weight on the mind and hearts of the depressed and the inwardly tormented than does a really bad day with dark rain sniveling continuously and sympathetically from a dirty sky. ~Muriel Spark, Territorial Rights, 1979
Iron rusts from disuse, stagnant water loses its purity and in cold weather becomes frozen; even so does inaction sap the vigors of the mind.
George H. Allen (1922 - 1990)
Life! we've been long together, Through pleasant and through cloudy weather; 'Tis hard to part when friends are dear, Perhaps 'twill cost a sigh, a tear; Then steal away, give little warning; Choose thine own time; Say not 'Good-night'; but in some brighter clime Bid me 'Good-morning'.

Aikin Barbauld (1743 - 1825)
My favourite
Waves of a serene life pass over us from time to time, like flakes of sunlight over the fields in cloudy weather.

No longer!

No Longer

No longer do I mourn in the mirror at the reflection of my waning youth
But gaze within the depths of my eyes in raptures at my pending eternal joy
No longer shall I be saddened and weighed down by the desires I do not hold within my grasp
But rejoice in the richness of the fruits of life that are laid before me to feast and fulfil my appetite
No longer will I thirst for the material possessions of life that are temporal and inanimate
But be quenched by Love pouring abundantly from within my heart that has be filled with aliveness
No longer will tender sentiments and nostalgia rule my life, shackling and seizing my illusions like grieving trophies.
But let me relish in my arousal of wonder at every aborning moment that is bestowed upon me and be grateful that I have a choice
No longer will my stumbling in the alleys of despair and becoming downhearted over take me
But I shall be triumphant that it has strengthened my very spirit and made me aware
No longer will the shroud of darkness obscure my view of the Beauty that resides within my ageing body
But I shall increase my vision and express the Beauty upon all I meet.
No longer will walls and frivolities of the mundane world steal my energy and entomb me
But let every stone wall I have built be clawed down till my fingers bleed and I rejoice in the pain of my long last awaited freedom
No longer will false idols of society impress me with their sad and tasteless life
But the visions of Nature …the air that I breathe … the whisper from a passing breeze … the sun as it kisses the earth … and the taste of wine and passion shall be my intoxications of love

Life is simplicity … be still and silent and listen

the above poem is a very old one of mine ... it may of appeared on earlier post.

Quotes on Simplicity

John V. Cheney
The happiest heart that ever beat Was in some quiet breast That found the common daylight sweet, And left to Heaven the rest

The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.

John Morley, 19th-century British statesman
Simplicity of character is no hindrance to the subtlety of intellect.

Albert Einstein
Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.I believe that a simple and unassuming manner of life is best for everyone, best both for the body and the mind.

Being

This beautiful photograph was taken by a friend on Flickr. Natasha 86's
A wonderful photographer.

There is a kind of stillness that surrounds our silence
A mute secrecy
Soundless, boundless tranquility
Expanding blushings of ecstasy
That reach so far within the abyss of our heart
It is in this moment,
The Divine touches the soul and fills it with grace
Like the bursting of the sun at dawn
As it opens and greets the world.
It is in this stillness and silence
Being is born

Quotes on Being:

Edith Wharton
There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.

Doris Mortman
Until you make peace with who you are, you'll never be content with what you have.

Coco Chanel
How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something but to be someone.

William James
Each of us literally chooses, by his way of attending to things, what sort of universe he shall appear to himself to inhabit.

Nice guys are winners before the game even starts.

Always my Love

flowers sway to and fro
the flickering of the mind
cradles past and present

Among the mist of daylight dawning,
The sun rises to embrace and kiss the earth
As the trees and birds awake from their dream
Your image impressed on my stirring mind

I cannot hide this love I have for you
Whispering I eternity waits for your return
Hours pass in the warmth of the afternoon sun
As lazy spring flowers tease and kiss
Intoxicated by the gentle breeze

I let my thoughts travel across the seas
Sailing upon the crowning crest of a wave
The ebb of life will not steal you from me
As I gently and safely hold you in my arms
Listen my darling to my heart beats

It speaks volumes of love for thee.

Dedicated to the one I love, always my darling!

The Heart Asks The Pleasure First

Composer~ Nyman

Dedicated to master s ~ Namaste

Extract from poem Burt Norton by TS Eliot

Time present and time past

Are both perhaps present in time future

And time future contained in time past.
What might have been and what has been

Point to one end, which is always present.

Footfalls echo in the memory

Down the passage which we did not take

Towards the door we never opened

Into the rose-garden.

My words echo

Thus, in your mind.

Satie -Gymnopedi

Great way to learn to play the piano ... great view of the finger movements.

Dedicated to my love ... at the drop of a heart beat.

Moonlight Sonata ~ Enjoy this.

One can get so lost into listening to music. Closing your eyes and drift.

Love
Far and wide wherever I stroll your shadow follows behind
Stepping in and out of the ocean of life within the illusionary time
The moon and stars sparkle and light the way to my bed
As you stir the flames in my heart and in my head
Dreaming of kissing you beneath the boughs of the Willow
Using your shoulder for the softness of a heavenly pillow
Drink with me this golden chalice of warm ruby wine
Let my love flow and ripple the length of your spine
Your love glistens in the dark, as you unfold my petals to excite
Fill me with your nectar, pearls of love pure and white
Our hearts pound across desert sands as our silken bodies ride
Kissing, gazing into beautiful eyes; thrilling feeling intoxicated inside
Within the beauty of my dream you make love to me
And I softly make love to thee.

Assumptions

We often make assumptions in a situation or within our relationships, to which we are always trying to rationalise our assumptions. Trying to justify our thoughts Usually these assumptions do not have any valid truth in them.
Such as in gossiping about another, people will gossip about another which could have no truth in it and could be quite damaging. Yet, people do it daily. Without any verification of proof.

When we make assumptions it feels safe ... the mind needs satisfying.

In situations we can assume something within our private thought world ... creating a story that satisfies the needs of the mind for reason depending on the situation it could make us feel safe ... and then in other situations it can hurl a mountain of illusions out at you.
This reason we have made by our assumption may not have any validity ... not even truth as long as we feel safe.
We assume that everyone sees things in the same way as we do. That is not so.
People cannot read your mind, nor can you ... although you may assume that they do or that you do.

Perhaps if, at the point of this assuming, we must learn to be flexible ... learn to question the assumption and stop creating a rational answer. Yet, to us an answer is needed even if this answer is not truth to satisfy the mind.

In relationships we tend to jump to a barage of conclusions and within these conclusions we create a barrier of illusions. Thus, a relationship could collapse because of it, because of the misunderstanding. It is better to enquire ... to ask I feel. Do not try to change the person nor allow them to change you. You change because you choose to. In love people have to accept each other for who they are.

We are also in the habbit of making assumptions about ourselves, by underestimating or overestimating ourselves then we find we are not able to fulfil a task. Do not say YES when you really mean NO this will only cause resentments.

How often have we all done this ... said YES when really wanted to say NO. I hold my hands up to that. We say this because we assume the other will be hurt or annoyed because we say NO. More often than not the true answer allows you freedom and also the chance for the other person to make arrangements with someone else that would be quite happy to say YES.

Assumptions ... Clarify with a question ... perhaps it will cause less pain all round.

Quotes:

Never assume the obvious is true. William Safire

We must never assume that which is incapable of proof. G. H. Lewes

Pride is increased by ignorance; those assume the most who know the least. John Gay

You must stick to your conviction, but be ready to abandon your assumptions. Denis Waitley

What a man believes may be ascertained, not from his creed, but from the assumptions on which he habitually acts. George Bernard Shaw

The criterion of simplicity requires that the minimum number of assumptions be postulated. Albert Low

It is always safe to assume that people are more subtle and less sensitive than they seem. Eric Hoffer

The invalid assumption that correlation implies cause is probably among the two or three most serious and common errors of human reasoning
Stephen Jay Gould quotes

On Saturday 15 June 1996, at a peak shopping time on Father's Day, a 3,000lb IRA bomb exploded in Manchester, injuring more than 200 people and ripping into the fabric of the city's main shopping centre. In a state of shocked disbelief, police had begun clearing people from the area some 40 minutes before the blast; fortunately, several telephoned warnings had been issued to newspapers, radio stations and to at least one hospital in Manchester an hour before the blast. Newspaper offices in Dublin and Belfast received similar warnings.
An army bomb squad employed a robotic anti-bomb device to check an illegally parked Ford van, which had been recorded by several closed circuit security cameras in the city, when the bomb exploded.
Manchester ambulance services counted 206 injured people. Most injuries were sustained from falling glass and building debris. In the immediately ensuing chaos, ambulances and private cars were used to shuttle victims to local and regional hospitals.
Local authorities had to close Victoria and Piccadilly railway stations for several hours and to seal off the city centre. The evacuation of shoppers immediately took place from the Marks & Spencer's department store, which was directly at the centre of the site, outside which the lorry-bomb was parked.
Initially, the evacuated staff and shoppers stood outside, right next to the bomb, but when the emergency services realised this they shunted them to the nearby Victoria Station. Why Manchester city centre was targeted by the IRA is uncertain, but it later became clear that the cause probably lay in the breakdown of the IRA "ceasefire" in the light of lack of progress with the British Government's ongoing talks about a permanent peace settlement in Northern Ireland.
It was estimated that up to 50,000 square metres of retail space and nearly 25,000 square metres of office space have subsequently needed to be reconstructed. Whilst much of the city centre has now reopened, the immediate area surrounding the blast site, including parts of the Arndale Centre, the Corn Exchange, the Royal Exchange, Royal Insurance's Longridge House and Marks and Spencer's remain cordoned off and a considerable amount of demolition has had to take place. Marks & Spencer's store, alas, was totally demolished, and the Royal Insurance Building is no more, as are several shops in the immediate vicinity.

This is my avenue where I live, just in the suburbs not to far from the city centre.

Where the wind does blow in the bleakness of the Highland snow
His spirit walks through the rolling of the heathers that nestle and grow
Her heart a shadowing glow beneath the face of the eloquent moon
to unite her with her true Love, this moment is not a moment too soon
She will follow His spirit wherever he may roam and go
Like the satin ebb of an ocean of love flowing to and fro
Let the surge of the tide bring her true love to her lonely side
Searching for Him here and there, no longer can He hide
How she longs to see
How she longs to be
Endlessly her heart is callling to to move beneath His bough
To be intoxicated by His Love in the realms of the here and now

Starry, starry night

Each night,
the Moon kisses

the stars
When we gaze up into the dark velet sky and become aware that all of those sparkling stars are alive. Wow! Life ... out there the Universe and into infinity is Life.

Images of excited lights reflecting the dance of love. Are we too, not like these stars shining lights, reflections of beauty. We are all one ... part of the whole. We are not inseparable from the infinite.

God's promises are like the stars; the darker the night the brighter they shine”

Though my soul may set in darkness, It will rise in perfect light, I have loved the stars too fondly To be fearful of the night

The art of Love.

Just recently I have been pondering on LOVE. I have been tought that to love is an art.

The art of Love.

What can this really mean?

For many of us go through life expressing a Love concept which is totally based on fear.

When I say I love you ... What is it I really love ... I can gaze into your eyes and I can see myself.
My reflection gazing back at me and in turn you see yourself in mine.

When I say I love you ... What do I mean ... I love your spirit that expresses the Divine and evokes the Divine within me.

When I say I love you ... there is that feeling that we can infuse each other with the spirit of magic.

When I say I love you ... I know that you can hold me so gently as if you were holding a butterfly and allow me that freedom to fly ... and know that I will return into your arms just as quick.

When I say I love you ... that I too can do this for you for the moment one cannot do this we fear, and with fear comes the illusions that will veil over your love.

When I say I love you ... What is it I really seek ... nothing ... for seeking happiness from the other is not love. One can only find happiness from within.

When you love nurture it like a gardener ... let the other unfold ... share ... give space ... be there for the other to give a helping hand ... forgive ... laugh ... and cry together.

A pondering just of late.

Dedicated to Master S.

That is why I guess many lovers they fall in love and then fall out of love ... because the other cannot keep up trying to make one happy. Problems arise, we hold on too tight ...

When I say I love you ... there are no expectations for within expectations we can fall into resentments if we do not receive what we expected.

The Canvas

I awoke to a beautiful morning full of blush
It was the dawning of a crimson dance
It was as if God the artisan had taken His brush
Streaking the sky with colour across the expanse

How beautifully the birds sang as they nestled in the trees
The branches dark skeleton silhouettes reaching high
A superb vision of His expression for the eyes to please
The book of life unfolded in the yawning of the sky.

A canvas on a new page for you to paint, to tint and shade
Make forgiveness your prime colour when making corrections
Move within your coloured dreams, do not ever be afraid
Choose to apply love and happiness from within in all directions

God is Wonder that we cannot comprehend His way
Be happy to be in His school of artists
Learn to create a colourful canvas for yourself each day.

If you paint the canvas of life or sew the tapestry of life choose yourself colours of vibrancy!

Quotes

It's hard to be fully creative without structure and constraint. Try to paint without a canvas. Creativity and freedom are two sides of the same coin. I like the best of both worlds. Want freedom? Get organized. Want to get organized? Get creative. David Allen

When I work alone, it can be like dabbling with a canvas. Maybe you paint over bits, and it starts to form its own life and lead you off in a direction. It becomes an intuitive, subconscious process. Lindsey Buckingham

Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can. Danny Kaye

Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by imagination. Voltaire

Intuition

Follow your intuition always. Intuition is your inner teaching ... it is the voice that speaks from within.
Follow your dreams and make them your reality. Live your truth always.
Thank you everyone for popping in and out. Felt the need to take some time out.
hug for everyone.
I have many examples when one has used intuition ... and many when one has not.
Can anyone remember an incident when they followed their intuition or did not?

Listen to Olivia

PLEASE LISTEN TO MY VIOLIN TUTOR PLAYING ... OLIVIA click here

MY FAVOURITES IS 'BURNING BUSH AND THE OTHER ONE IS:- 'A STOR MO CROI'

I THINK THAT ROB AND ANDREW WILL APPRECIATE THESE AND ALL OF YOU I GUESS TOO.
I once asked my previous tutor how long will it take for me to play like that? Try 30 years.
She laughs out loud. Looks like I have another 25 years to go. :o(
And does she play well? Do pigs fly?

Hope you enjoy it.

Quotes:

I love power. But it is as an artist that I love it. I love it as a musician loves his violin, to draw out its sounds and chords and harmonies.
Napoleon Bonaparte quotes

Love is not the dying moan of a distant violin .. it's the triumphant twang of a bedspring
S. J. Perelman quotes

I inherited a painting and a violin which turned out to be a Rembrandt and a Stradivarius. Unfortunately, Rembrandt made lousy violins and Stradivarius was a terrible painter.
Tommy Cooper quotes

This one is superb!

Every person is important. It doesn't matter whether you play the violin, the flute, the cello, or the drums, you're still part of the orchestra.

The orchestra of Life

When the master takes me in his hands and rests me on his shoulder
He tenderly caresses me and holds me with loving care
The bow touches my strings and we resonate
The sounds echo through the wood crafted from some ancient tree
Music to his ear
This is a Love affair between the master and his violin.

What is reality?

Reality is an immeasurable term . .. Because reality
is all about how an individual perceives
or interprets something.

If you go down in the woods today ...

Click on my photograph or on the word Fairies
other Fairies and Legends and spiritual poems

Have you ever wondered where Fairies hide themselves ... I spotted their hiding place and snapped them with my camera. :o)

Sometimes we miss the beauty of the moment ... we are involved in our thoughts ... work ... life issues, that we miss these tiny glimpses, gifts. A wonderful expression is to see a baby smile and hear it gurgle. A moment listening to a choir singing ... a beautiful piece of music ... to gaze upon a painting. Do you recall that moment when it just gets to you ... somewhere within you opens and you feel. Have you ever reached out for the kleenexes to wipe a tear away during a film which has moved you.

One that I can recall the most was whilst touring Rome ... I was visiting the Cardinals Cathedral ... and it was so lucky for me, that this particualar moment they were all singing in Latin ... the sun streamed through the stained glass windows ... there seemed to be a haze ... gosh! that feeling just opened me up and tears just rolled down my cheeks.

What do think it is that makes you feel this way?
Is it not you opening up to your very Being? :o)

What moments do you recall? I would love you all to
share them here. :o)

a lovely post to wake up to... there are so many of those magical moments... it really doesn't take much to make me misty and moist eyed. A friend called me a sap last night, I am so easily moved by the moon and the stars, a beautiful flower, babies, oh babies really do it for me.

Keshi says
Im easily moved :) Im a very sensitive soul so alot of things can make me teary. Simple things make me happy. It doesnt take alot to get me excited. I even get tears when I see a baby butterfly practising it's skills...I smile at the sun rays...I cry at the movies...I dance down the road...I long for a walk in the woods...Music can put me in the best mood...I feel love of this Earth all the time...nature bascially makes me thrilled.

Walk in the graveyard

Life and death
Past and present
Darkness and light
Time to myself took me off into the local graveyard with my camera. It made me very aware that through darkness ... through death ... emerged Life and Light.

Mystical Photographer

I came across a wonderful Mystical Photographer. Mystical Mike via Flickr.

Mystic Quotes:

Mysticism and exaggeration go together. A mystic must not fear ridicule if he is to push all the way to the limits of humility or the limits of delight. Author: Milan Kundera

Mystics always hope that science will some day overtake them. Author: Booth Tarkington

All mystics speak the same language, for they come from the same country. Author: Louis
Claude de St. Martin

Just as in earthly life lovers long for the moment when they are able to breathe forth their love for each other, to let their souls blend in a soft whisper, so the mystic longs for the moment when in prayer he can, as it were, creep into God. Author: Soren Kierkegaard

Mystics and Mysticism
Quotes: The mystic purchases a moment of exhilaration with a lifetime of confusion; and the confusion is infectious and destructive. It is confusing and destructive to try and explain anything in terms of anything else, poetry in terms of psychology. - Basil Bunting

Uncontrolled, the hunger and thirst after God may become an obstacle, cutting off the soul from what it desires. If a man would travel far along the mystic road, he must learn to desire God intensely but in stillness, passively and yet with all his heart and mind and strength. - Aldous Huxley

We follow the mystics. They know where they are going. They, too, go astray, but when they go astray they do so in a way that is mystical, dark, and mysterious. - Ryszard Kapuscinski

Fisherman

Let God be the Fisherman that catches you in His net
That reels and pulls you in
Let He be the One that kisses you
Whispering, go and be free
Go swim in the oceans of My Love
Do not be the one that struggles for breath
Surrender to your ego's death
Rejoice that you have been caught
For when He casts His Rod upon your very soul
And you have wiped away your veil of illusions
Released yourself of all confusions
You will remember that you are One

Quotes:

Any fool can count the seeds in an apple. Only God can count all the apples in one seed. ~Robert H. Schuller

Every evening I turn my worries over to God. He's going to be up all night anyway. ~Mary C. Crowley

God loves each of us as if there were only one of us. ~St. Augustine

The feeling remains that God is on the journey, too. ~Teresa of Avila

But I always think that the best way to know God is to love many things. ~Vincent van Gogh, Dear Theo: An Autobiography of Vincent van Gogh, 1937

People see God every day, they just don't recognize him. ~Pearl Bailey

The Wizards Dance in Life

Wizard you sailed upon the tempest of love
On the tail of the thunderous voice of the wind
You entered my heart … my very soul
Like the gentle falling of pure snow
From nothing
You waved your wand and a rose appeared
Wizard of Love, joy and peace
My soul you came to light up and release
Turning my fears into joy and treasure
Guiding me through my frustrations
Transforming them into fulfilment and pleasure
Wizard you are the Alchemist that is within us all
The Transformer
Turning our qualities into pure Love and gold

Dedicated to Master S.

quotes:
From the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

1 You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It's just a matter of paying attention to this miracle.
2 I learned the most important lesson of my life: that the extraordinary is not the birthright of a chosen and privileged few, but of all people, even the humblest. That is my one certainty: we are all the manifestation of the divinity of God.

Smell is a potent wizard that transports you across thousands of miles and all the years you have lived.
Helen Keller quotes
5 There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure
