The circle of friendship

Friendship is a beautiful thing, it gives you the chance of becoming a human Being.
People at times think they have to tackle a problem alone. Please allow your nearest friend to help you, share your thoughts with God.
When one has a problem ... one should find the cause and then the solution. Prevention is better than cure.
Hugs for everyone that passes by here today! Hi Carolyne :o) Hi Tal :o)

Namaste

Anyone that passes by today. I hope you will allow yourself to absorbe this quote. Profound and truly your birthright.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

The Light from within

She was awakened this morning by the outside world ... The humdrum of the traffic could be heard in the background. She peered through the gaps in her blinds to be greeted by a monochrome scene of a backdrop of different tones of greys and blacks. The pondering mind says that the sun is always shining behind the thickness of the clouds. In other words there is light at the end of the tunnel. Focus on the light that streams out from within you and know that all will be well.
Have a wonderful day everybody. Just looked again and the sun has got his hat on ... Hip, hip hooray!

Stillness and Pondering

Today it has been a pondering day.

Be thankful for all that you have and do not worry yourself with that which you do not have. :o)

I journey on

No Longer
No longer do I mourn in the mirror at the reflection of my waning youth
But gaze within the depths of my eyes in raptures at my pending eternal joy.

No longer shall I be saddened and weighed down by the desires I do not hold within my grasp
But rejoice in the richness of the fruits of life that are laid before me to feast and fulfil my appetite

No longer will I thirst for the material possessions of life that are temporal and inanimate
But be quenched by Love pouring abundantly from within my heart that has be filled with aliveness

No longer will tender sentiments and nostalgia rule my life, shackling and seizing my illusions like grieving trophies.
But let me relish in my arousal of wonder at every aborning moment that is bestowed upon me and be grateful that I have a choice

No longer will my stumbling in the alleys of despair and becoming downhearted over take me
But I shall be triumphant that it has strengthened my very spirit and made me aware

No longer will the shroud of darkness obscure my view of the Beauty that resides within my ageing body
But I shall increase my vision and express the Beauty upon all I meet.

No longer will walls and frivolities of the mundane world steal my energy and entomb me
But let every stone wall I have built be clawed down till my fingers bleed and I rejoice in the pain of my long last awaited freedom

No longer will false idols of society impress me with their sad and tasteless life
But the visions of Nature …the air that I breathe … the whisper from a passing breeze … the sun as it kisses the earth … and the taste of wine and passion shall be my intoxications of love
Life is simplicity … be still and silent and listen.

A spiralling kssssssssssss

A kiss to my heart

I often walk my street with a silent moving shadowy friend
Sometimes I stop to gaze fixedly up into the expanse of the dark velvety sky
As if it were an enormous box of treasure filled with sparkling diamonds
Searching for you my love, exploring the great wonders of the Universe
Breathless and tranquil in the sweet essence of the moonlit night
I await for your tender lips to touch my heart with a spiralling ksssssssss

Friends are Forever

Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

I treasure my friendship with my friends. They are the ones that you can count on. They are selfless. We make each other laugh. We share our lows and our highs. There is an affinity between us all. A beautiful positive flow charged with love
Shirley
My oldest friend is Shirley. We grew up together in a neighborhood where one could leave your door open all day. In the warm summer evenings there would always be a gathering of mothers chatting in the doorways. Kids were more free ... There was no danger. Kids played outside instead of sitting in front of the computers or Game Stations. We created games to play. Adventurers lost in our imaginations.Shirley came from a Jewish home. I would go there occasionally for a Sabbath meal. Her mother would light the candles and say prayers. Serving chicken soup ... Jewish penicillin. And in turn Shirley would come to our house and celebrate Christmas. She would help to decorate the Christmas Tree.We have kept our friendship going all these years and hopefully will continue to do so.
Maria
My college friend is called Maria. A beautiful and creative spirit. Maria is very artistic. She works with clay and paints. Maria at the moment is working in college helping to bring out the best in her pupils. To help them express their artistic potentiality. She has been a great inspiration to me. We shared many moments going out and using our camera's capturing some form of beauty or a crumbling building.
Michelle
Then we have Michelle. She is my Belly Dancing hippy friend. Always on the go taking workshops, making costumes, holding bazaars and teaching classes of all ages how to belly dance. She often takes her classes out to Egypt or Turkey for tours. We have the same passion for ... Merlin the wizard, unicorns, fairies, crystals and just being free spirits. whirling-dervish.co.uk
David
David is the positive one he gets things done. He gives everyone the feeling of stability and safety. He is a very good friend not only to me but all my family. :o)
Stephen
Stephen he is the adventurer he has done a great many things in his life. Lives in Vancouver now. Miss him lots although we do email each other weekly.

Lizzy, Karley and Angel are my young friends that are so dear to me as if they we were my own daughters. Well I guess that sums up my closest friends. There are others too. Thank you all for being my loyal friends.

It is our quest to return home.

One day son and daughter of the King, Prince and Princess wondered what it would be like on the outside of the Castle walls. Here within the perimeter of the Castle walls they lived in opulence in need of nothing. This day they decided it would be nice to see what was beyond the inner safety. They informed their father the King that it was time that they experienced the outside world. He wished them well and told them He would be waiting for their return.

Once beyond the garden of paradise, the beautiful fragrances of the flowers. The brother and sister ... Prince and Princess proceeded to experience that which was part of great outside. A strange feeling came across them ... Their memory was lost. They did not know where they had come from ... They did not know who they were to each other. Separation, lost and not knowing.
It seemed as though they were both reborn into another world. Life was quite strange here. They both experienced joy, sadness, strife. At times life here was quite harsh trying to understand ... It was hard to forgive others ... It was not easy to love everyone.

Many years had passed by and the King wondered about His children. Although He knew that they were in His Kingdom and no matter what they would be safe and eventually make the return home. The King felt that He had heard a calling from His children that they were now ready to come home. They were part of Him and He was able to feel and hear them at all times.
I will send my finest knight to seek the Prince and Princess and help them on their journey back to me.
The intrepid knight, the bearer went in search of the Kings children to bring to them directions on how they can return home to their Father.

He found the Princess one day asleep and gently leaned forward to kiss her soft lips. When her eyes opened she felt as though it was like looking through the brilliance of diamonds. He held her in his arms and gave her a red rose. Whispering to her. "Awaken my beautiful angel your Father has heard you calling."
"He has sent me to help you on your journey home" The Princess felt safe she knew that it would not be too long when she would be in the presence of her Father, the King.
The traveling Knight found the Prince and whispered details that he too will commence his journey on the path home.
It is our quest to return home.

Dreams (Have you ever woke up)

Have you ever woke up from a dream, when you have felt that you have been with someone that you really love, but you just do not know who it is. You wake up feeling so serene and loving. Well, it is one of those mornings.

Share your dreams with me!
Hugs for everyone :o)

Evening

The evening was slightly unbalanced ... Perhaps I was not aware of the test initially and then it was too late ... Huh! Failed miserably.
Why do people enjoy rocking the boat? Who do they think they are awaking me from my dream. Why must there be people that pin prick you with what seems like hurtful comments. Why must people be so selective in who they choose to direct comments of distaste. The direction was for me. It is a teaching for spiritual growth comes the whispers. I should know better. I failed! I failed! I failed to see the illusion. Will I ever find me? Being? I still hold on to self. Damn you self! Let self go! Only those that are on journey will understand this.
New day tomorrow. Forgive and forget. Apply ones teachings now.

Quotes on the Ego

Give up all bad qualities in you, banish the ego and develop the spirit of surrender. You will then experience Bliss.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba quotes (Indian Spiritual leader, b.1926

If you want to reach a state of bliss, then go beyond your ego and the internal dialogue. Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge. Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. It's very important to be aware of them every time they come up.
Deepak Chopra quotes (Indian ayurvedic Physician and Author, b.1947)

Every morning when I wake up, I experience an exquisite joy – the joy of being Salvador Dalí – and I ask myself in rapture: What wonderful things this Salvador Dalí is going to accomplish today? - Salvador Dalí
***I find myself fascinating. - Milan Kundera

The art of feeling safe within the fear of illusion.

Fear is an illusion.

I feel the way of gently letting go of fear is to become aware of it … for it is the fear that limits us ... it is fear that takes our freedom away.

Safety is training ourselves to let go of Fear
Safety is a CHOICE
Choice is a skill that we can learn. :o)

By realising that we are not alone that God is always with us and encircles us with His Love.

When we are feeling fear the act of turning it round should be applied.

We should focus on Love within the situation. Thus, we will become free and safe and become empowered with a deep sense of flowing of Love which will keep us sheltered.

If we do not become aware of the situations that we face in our every day lives, many thoughts and resentments are to arise within the fear which will continously plague our minds. Try to acheive stillness ... try to see that situations are a gift for spiritual growth.
Fear is an illusion
Choose Joy over fear
Choose Love over fear
Choose Happiness over fear
Within this moment there is Freedom ... within this moment is Love and joy. It is our birthright.
Stop for a moment and become aware of your breath, and within your breath there is no fear.
Be in this moment now.
You only need deal with this moment and do you feel fear in this moment?
No!

What you can do is transform fear into compassion. Once you have learned to allow fear to be
present without being overwhelmed, you can actually use it to arouse compassion. Remember that compassion literally means to "suffer with." So, whenever fear arises, consider that everyone suffers from fear at some time in their lives. Therefore, the fear you are currently feeling is not strictly personal. In fact, it is something you share with all sentient beings. So, open your heart to this fear and be grateful for the opportunity to experience deeply what others also experience. Then, just as you, yourself, want to be free of fear, recognize that all beings want this, as well. Make a strong wish or prayer that they, too, may be released from this form of suffering.
The more you can open your heart to fear and the suffering it causes, the more you will find that something remarkable happens. The very same energy which manifested as fear becomes transformed into a profound feeling of love and sympathy for all beings throughout the entire cosmos.

Quotes

Never fear shadows... they simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby.-- Unknown

4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.-- 1 John 4:18.

The conquest of fear lies in the moment of its acceptance.-- Unknown.

Every tomorrow has two handles. We can take hold of it by the handle of anxiety or by the handle of faith.-- Unknown

Fear and Strength

Fear is our greatest barrier agitating and creating illusions that prevents our growth
Constructing a veil of darkness, darkening our vision and retaining the thorns
That has been imbedded for centuries deep inside our fragile spine
Alone as we travel the path we learn how to remove each thorn
Only when we have the strength to lick our wounds clean and forgive those that have violated us
Only when we can open the gates of our heart and express the Divines Love
We shall awaken to the extraordinary manner in which the Spirit functions
There are occasions when we will peer at the tapestry of Life on the false side and will not identify the gentle Hand of the Divine as He weaves with beautiful threads
In these times the Spirit of Love requires only one thing of us and that is to detect His Presence and Listen
and know that He is here ALWAYS

Master S. says
Where one focuses on fear, doubt stress... it might seem important at that time, yet one is, as you said.... missing out on the things of beauty ... that if one had instead focused on ... one would we enjoyed Life, laughter, beauty, and the joy that is possible now
there is Life, laughter, and joy within every moment worthy of focus, though it might not seem thus ... just as one is able to look for fear, sadness, and sorrow at eerie moment’s potential,
and ... it is all where you put your focus, that determines whether you miss out on.

Autumn

I love Autumn watching the leaves when they are being blown by the wind.

Autumn
Leaves of golds, rusts and brown
Gently falling and floating to the ground
Flowers sigh as their petals fall upon the earth
Seeds of beauty drop to start rebirth

7 days without God makes one weak

Mystics Divine Seed

She sits and ponders.
The voice of the wind can be heard as it swiftly moves and shows its energetic energy. Oh to be that kite now! To be tied to the tail of the zepher and blown far away where Mystics move within. Blow! Blow Autumn wind! http://www.gloriana.nu/mystic.html
http://mysticsaint.blogspot.com

Where do you go Mystic Angel

Mystic where do you go when you leave me alone
Like an autumn leaf from east to west gently blown
Likened to the Spiritual pristine breeze
Casting and sowing in the field of life his Divine Seeds

Seasons come and go like life’s magical moments
Like the snow flake gently melting upon the pavements
Mystic where do you go when all is silent and still
Roaming the world expressing your love at Gods Will

Days pass by I retreat in silence to my inner self
To try to understand his absence, to understand his stealth
To respect the wisdom of the Mystic, for we are of ancient ties
It is for me to carry on my quest to be still, listen, and be wise
There is no separateness between us, one and all we do belong
Whispers from the Mystic softly encouraging me to be strong
Conscientious in my work to follow the quests way of life
To free my self of the illusions of the worlds outer strife
Let my exuberant love of the Mystic that comes from inside
Be expressed with joy with grace and with great pride
Inspired by and dedicated to Master S.

Take a Moment

Take a moment
I often take a moment to be more aware of my thoughts
Thoughts that took me away from You my Lord
Thoughts that caused me to have tunnel vision
That led me down darkened alleys of despair and misery
Thoughts that wandered uncontrolled piercing at the minds of others
Inflicting upon their nature and limiting their very freedom
A thoughtless mind
It was not my fault for I knew not what I was doing
Did I not realise that the infliction was upon my own equal nature
That the very thoughts which were meant for others had distastefully made their way back to me.
A new day shall be born a new moment created and within each moment unfolding a new me

The Unexpected

Morning all!

Everyone has a heart ... and even those that sometimes we make judgements on and think they do not have a heart come out shining and prove us wrong time and time again

So that set her pondering. Is it perhaps are way of thinking? Is it our expectations of others that causes us to make judgements.? Is it because perhaps we do not see the hidden reasons of why people do certain things and we are quite quick to make judgements on them.

Do we, not plead for people to understand us and accept us for who we really are? Is it not acceptance that we long for. Do we not want to express our true self and at times have to supress this because others will not accept us.

She shall ponder on!

One day older than I was yesterday!

The birthday day went well ... I definitely did not need to take the morning after pill. :o)

Nor were there signs of the night before round the rim of the loo! So I guess all was good.
Family and friends celebrated with me at the The Thai Lounge Restaurant. Wonderful decor and delicious food. It's kind of nice eating with Buddha statues surrounding you ... We are never separate from the One even in our celebrations. :o)
Excuse me ... She coughs ... She is one year and one day older than she was yesterday ... Wiser????
That remains to be seen.

Visited a Mind, Body and Soul show this afternoon. Tarrot card readers ... palmists ... healing with crystals ... singing prayer bowls and the sweet smell of josticks ... love gazing at the meandering smoke of josticks ... it almost looks as if a spirit is being born and moves in the air.

Embrace the spirit within you.

Quotes:

A dog is not considered a good dog because he is a good barker. A man is not considered a good man because he is a good talker. Buddha
All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him. Buddha
All things appear and disappear because of the concurrence of causes and conditions. Nothing ever exists entirely alone; everything is in relation to everything else. Buddha

Birthday Girl :o)

It's my birthday today!

She stretches out her creaking body. Gets the oil can out and applies a little bit of grease to the ol'e joints. Birthday girl looks into the mirror to see if another wrinkle has appeared ... Hey no! Happy to say no extra wrinkles have been created. :o) She looks into her eyes ... Green and cool ... And whispers ... "Hello you in there" As she gazes at herself in the mirror a reflection of her life is suddenly unfolding. "Hey" she says. "You have come through all your ups and downs"
The inner scars are almost fading. Scars do fade and eventually disappear if we are strong enough to forgive those that have hurt us in the past. Forgiveness is a form of healing ... it is also a form of freeing oneself. A way of understanding others. It is also mandate to forgive oneself.

It's her birthday today!

She is living her adventure ... her dreams. There those special dreams that perhaps she is not quite prepared to live yet, but there is time ... she is an infinite being and there is the whole of eternity ... the whole of the universe to traverse.

So what is she going to do today ... who knows? ... the suprise is the gift.

Quotes:

And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
luca
Abraham Lincoln quotes
Your birthday is a special time to celebrate the gift of 'you' to the world.
“Last week the candle factory burned down. Everyone just stood around and sang Happy Birthday.”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THOSE THAT SHARE THIS DAY ... VIRGO'S

The joy's of the sun

It was wonderful to wake up this morning to the sunlight streaming through my blinds and the crystals on the window sill reflecting rainbows all around the bedroom walls.
The trees were gently swaying and whispering as the warm morning breeze softly passed by.

I took a little trip in to the next town ... a market town. The hustle bustle of the shoppers. Smiling faces everywhere. The colours of the flowers were so vibrant as they lazed in hanging baskets in the afternoon sun. Flower Siesta!

People feel different when they have been kissed by the sun more alive and free.
Light is tonic for one's soul.

quote:

The glorious lamp of heaven, the radiant sun, Is Nature's eye.
