The art of Love.

Just recently I have been pondering on LOVE. I have been tought that to love is an art.

The art of Love.

What can this really mean?

For many of us go through life expressing a Love concept which is totally based on fear.

When I say I love you ... What is it I really love ... I can gaze into your eyes and I can see myself.
My reflection gazing back at me and in turn you see yourself in mine.

When I say I love you ... What do I mean ... I love your spirit that expresses the Divine and evokes the Divine within me.

When I say I love you ... there is that feeling that we can infuse each other with the spirit of magic.

When I say I love you ... I know that you can hold me so gently as if you were holding a butterfly and allow me that freedom to fly ... and know that I will return into your arms just as quick.

When I say I love you ... that I too can do this for you for the moment one cannot do this we fear, and with fear comes the illusions that will veil over your love.

When I say I love you ... What is it I really seek ... nothing ... for seeking happiness from the other is not love. One can only find happiness from within.

When you love nurture it like a gardener ... let the other unfold ... share ... give space ... be there for the other to give a helping hand ... forgive ... laugh ... and cry together.

A pondering just of late.

Dedicated to Master S.

That is why I guess many lovers they fall in love and then fall out of love ... because the other cannot keep up trying to make one happy. Problems arise, we hold on too tight ...

When I say I love you ... there are no expectations for within expectations we can fall into resentments if we do not receive what we expected.

Love can be expressed so much better through art, I think. That's what makes art so great.

My hunch is that real Love is not to do with personal relationships....it is between God and our Soul.

Trinitystar,
What a great post. I try not to dwell on figuring out love, it confuses me even at my age! The love I feel for my family is the unconditional love that sustains me. :-)

Thanks for the beautiful post!
Lovely words!
My post today is also on love.
When I think about the love I share with my love of many years...
it is like a oneness between us, that when one weeps the other will taste salt!

Floots,
A bit of the Highland wind blew you here. Great surprise!
Some express love through words ... some through art ... some through music.
We are beautiful beings when we love.
We become light and light!

Aaah The Art of Love
cannot be defined by science
It's a feeling that just comes
and no one knows where it will lead
One has to let it go with the flow
and watch it blossom watch it grow
