Mystic of Love

Mystic of Love

The hours that pass in this timeless zone
Within the very depths of my heart
A place I am able to share with you alone
Gently touching your finger tips
Mystic of Love
Feeling you like a breeze upon my face
The softness of your kiss upon my lips
Whispering sands blowing in my hair
Mystic of Love
I long for a moments gaze from you
To feel your eyes walk through the doorway of my soul
To share the dance of love with you
I breathe you with every beat of my heart
Mystic of Love
I shall always embrace your heart in mine
You are my dawning of my awakening
You are those beautiful sunsets of crimsons and gold
You are those dreams forever I hold
I love you

Quotes
Just as in earthly life lovers long for the moment when they are able to breathe forth their love for each other, to let their souls blend in a soft whisper, so the mystic longs for the moment when in prayer he can, as it were, creep into God. Author: Soren Kierkegaard
All mystics speak the same language, for they come from the same country. Author: Louis Claude de St. Martin

no sleep

I could not sleep all night, no moonlight

No stars, just a blanket of dark clouds

My thoughts stumbled, stubborn resistance
Searching for my existence through torment

The air was so still, no stiring of silence

I listened and there was nothing.

For hours I gazed at the tree outside

No whispers, no rustling of leaves

No excitement for the mirror of my eyes

I looked for soft sand blowing in the breeze

The crest of a wave to sail upon beneath the warm sun

Sounds of Paradise birds in trees, cascading waterfalls

Tinkling of flower petals

Sweet fragrance in the air

I must of closed my eyes for a moment

so I had thought

Suddenly a new day was born

The sun came streaming through the window

Birds called morning to all

I had found a paradise

I heard the waterfall

The tap in the bathroom
