If you go down in the woods today ...

Have you ever wondered where Fairies hide themselves ... I spotted their hiding place and snapped them with my camera. :o)

Sometimes we miss the beauty of the moment ... we are involved in our thoughts ... work ... life issues, that we miss these tiny glimpses, gifts. A wonderful expression is to see a baby smile and hear it gurgle. A moment listening to a choir singing ... a beautiful piece of music ... to gaze upon a painting. Do you recall that moment when it just gets to you ... somewhere within you opens and you feel. Have you ever reached out for the kleenexes to wipe a tear away during a film which has moved you.

One that I can recall the most was whilst touring Rome ... I was visiting the Cardinals Cathedral ... and it was so lucky for me, that this particualar moment they were all singing in Latin ... the sun streamed through the stained glass windows ... there seemed to be a haze ... gosh! that feeling just opened me up and tears just rolled down my cheeks.

What do think it is that makes you feel this way?
Is it not you opening up to your very Being? :o)

What moments do you recall? I would love you all to
share them here. :o)

a lovely post to wake up to... there are so many of those magical moments... it really doesn't take much to make me misty and moist eyed. A friend called me a sap last night, I am so easily moved by the moon and the stars, a beautiful flower, babies, oh babies really do it for me.

Im easily moved :) Im a very sensitive soul so alot of things can make me teary. Simple things make me happy. It doesnt take alot to get me excited. I even get tears when I see a baby butterfly practising it's skills...I smile at the sun rays...I cry at the movies...I dance down the road...I long for a walk in the woods...Music can put me in the best mood...I feel love of this Earth all the time...nature bascially makes me thrilled.

Hi Trinity, awesome photo from Rome
The people who designed and built these places, were certainly looking for a trick of the light.

It seems some things are visible, and some things we only notice if we know where to look or what we are looking for (or even at).

PS - Chrissy a proper itsybitsy cute little fairie herself - lol!

Hi Trinity, Thanks!
You know Madonna likes 'kabbala' water - that is bottled (tap?) water that has been blessed by a rabbi.

But certainly water is one of the crucial elements in our diet. I notice many of the girls here, fairie like choristers only drink water from those small bottles of mineral water.

I guess one could say - all things being equal (ie no inherited degenerative diseases & no wars or natural disasaters)- the secret to long life is in what you eat & drink

Or how recklessly or not you live!

Oh you sweetone, landing your starship here for a moment to visit my planetary blog.
hmmmmmmmm well ... Madonna ... say no more.

the trouble when we talk of drinking water ... are we not made up not sure of the % we oooooooooozing with it.
she lol. :o)

Water ... is very special!

Have you heard of Dr. Masuru emoto and his crystalized water.

Trinity,
Lovely, lovely post. I find that awareness of these moments brings me a sense of centeredness and peace throughout the day. Just yesterday as I was taking the trash out I was rushing by and was stopped in stillness by the most beautiful, perfect red rose blooming on a bush. It was just so beautiful I stopped and just experienced it. It is in these quiet moments of quietude and gratitude that I am reminded of the true glory and joy to be found in living, if we just stop for a moment and notice.

The last time is was really moved was by hearing Bob Dylan singing Don't Think Twice . I'm becoming a bit of a Dylanophile..
plus the lyrics describe very precisely what i once went through.

So i think that counts.

There moment where I feel medidation without being in the posture..Just life it self a bled of sadness and happiness brings the thrill of being alive...Then reaching that level where poetry is recited silently (no word is read od written) yet you still linger in poetic moments

trinitystar said...

Thank you everyone for sharing your moments ... we have all shared them as one.

Jeeps, I read the lyrics on the Dylan song ... Im sure we can all relate to that ... thanks for sharing.

Iamnasra,
This blend Iamnasra ... is exactly that being alive.
Connected!

Gosh! Serenity,

That usually happens to me ... I could be just walking the street ... and suddenly a flower catches my eye ... or bird in the tree ... or even the spirit within a tree.
Beautiful.
hugs :o)

so many times, but the most recent that stands out in my mind was just the other day when I read Nasras blog about her time in the desert.....can't tell you why but it moved me. Who knows sometimes why certain things touch us and take us to that special place deep within.
I love the photo of the fairies.
