A new day is dawning

There is this sudden eerie moment just before dawn, when everything is so still and silent. Then suddenly this part of the world starts to yawn. Stretching the expanse of the sky.
The dawning of the day.
A new day.
A new begining.
A child is born each moment.
The birds sing their song.
Let it be that we live life each moment.

One of the strange things about living in the world is that it is only now and then one is quite sure one is going to live forever and ever and ever. One knows it sometimes when one gets up at the tender solemn dawn-time and goes out and stands alone and throws one's head far back and looks up and up and watches the pale sky slowly changing and flushing and marvelous unknown things happening until the East almost makes one cry out and one's heart stands still at the strange unchanging majesty of the rising of the sun—which has been happening every morning for thousands and thousands and thousands of years. One knows it then for a moment or so...
Frances Burnett quotes

Whether I retire to bed early orlate, I rise with the sun.- Thomas Jefferson

Dawn is like no other time of the day, beautiful, serene and beckoning. Your words are so lovely as is the photo.

I love gettint up early and greeting the day. We had a red sunrise a couple of days ago here, and I grabbed my camera to snap the sunrise thru the trees. I always try to keep it handy for that once in a moment shot. Digital is so nice.
Taking the picture and seeing it now, versus the old film one and having to wiat for days or weeks to get - beacuse you plum forgot about dropping it off. LOL

Have a great weekend.
