Vancouver ... The visual memory!

This was an exciting trip for me. I had never travelled this kind of distance alone, therefore it was an adventure.
My friends were there to greet me when I arrived at the airport. Between the three of them they managed to show me the sights.

I was invited to a Thanksgiving Dinner. The mother of the house had a lot to be thankful for. Her son had a horrific car accident in May this year. The doctors had brought him back to life again 7 times and here he was sitting with us at the table. Sometimes miracles do happen.

These are some of my photographs from my trip to Vancouver. Vancouver has the best of all worlds. The mountains ... the parks ... the Pacific Ocean ... the great city ... the bays ... the beaches and the people.
the Photographs working down are
Grisley
Wood sculptures on Grouse Mountain
Mountain views
The city condo's
View from the top of Grouse Mountain
View of melting Greenland
Lions Bay
Surrounding mountains at Whistler

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -- Mark Twain
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." -- Helen Keller
