No Fear!

NO FEAR!

We walk alone along the desolate avenues so blind
Concealed by our flesh, superficial beauty
The ego and the age of time

Beyond that, hidden within the walls we find
A private property resides
Thoughts misconstrued in the complexities of our mind

At times a shadow falls like a veil of doom
Like a wretched prisoner shackled
In the darkness of a unearthly tomb

We wallow, longing to be free of this life
Fears grow like a rapid disease of discomfort
Until we become aware, we then see the light

It is with awareness that we can face our fears
For spiritual strength is beyond all this world
Fears are nothing but past experiences over the years

Were we to let go of our fear
We would feel the safety of Gods hands
And the whispers of His Love we would hear.

Fear is Limiting!

Quotes on Fear:

James Thurber:
Let us not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness.
Jane Addams:
Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we often might win, by fearing to attempt.
Louisa May Alcott:
I'm not afraid of storms, for I'm learning how to sail my ship.
-->
Marcus Aurelius:
If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.

Marianne Williamson: This is my favourite
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Marianne Williamson:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. This entry continued ...

Marie Curie:
Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.

Marilyn Ferguson:
Ultimately we know deeply that the other side of every fear is a freedom.

Hi Trinitystar!
But
Fear of God is school of wisdom

"The fear of the Lord is the teaching for wisdom, and having no pride comes before honor." (Proverbs 15:33)

Thank you for sharing this great pic and post. Very meaningful and worth to think of.

Peace and Happiness to you!

Trinity magic pic
Those guys got some bottle
I guess it's all in the mind

Some of us might fear the fall
to them it's just like sitting on a wall

But like everything in life
just because we cannot do it
does not mean it cannot be done

The Trapeze artist flying thru the air (with no net)
The ice skater dancing & twirling high (still landing with grace)

Floots,
A friend said to me.

I think the steel worker, working at 900 feet above the ground without a net, is not afraid partly because of the sense of skill and, partly because of the sense that if they fall and die, they are able to handle that
they have no fear where they are.
hugs for you.

Pat,
Thanks for the anon comment. :o)
Yes, our fears can make us lose track so much so we miss the beauty of the moment ... we limit our self in a boundless universe.
:o)

Quasar,

You are so magical with your words.
But like everything in life
just because we cannot do it
does not mean it cannot be done
Exactly.

This proverb fits the bill.
I think in Slovenia ... you nearly have a saying for everything.
How true this proverb is. It is a very good way of looking at fear.
Thank you.

Nasra,
As long s you remember God is very near to you at all times.
When fears are created ... be aware that it is an illusion.

Trinitystar,
What a great post...........I am managing my fears much better these days and I am not sure if it is because I am older, or because I am FINALLY "getting" all these life lessons that continue to happen daily. hugsssssssssssssss
