Distant Thoughts

Distant thoughts
I could hear the rustling of the leaves
As the wind capriciously blew through the trees
Not affected by the gravity pull my spirit lifted high
Like a bird swishing its wings on the face of the sky
My longing gaze on a forth coming smile
A love extending a distance of a thousand miles
Outstretched arms touching of souls holding tight
Beneath a romantic raven velvet starlit night
I shall fly upon the wing of a vast silver bird of love
Gliding through the air and white fluffy clouds above
I shall dream of land so far away and make it a reality.

Quotes

What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind.

Buddha (563 BC-483 BC) Founder of Buddhism

Watch your thoughts, for they become words.Watch your words, for they become actions.Watch your actions, for they become habits.Watch your habits, for they become character.Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.

It's a bit frightening that our thoughts are so powerful isn't it?

Most of the time I am not aware of the direction my thoughts are taking.

Rob ... ooooooops ... your last post may have been taken the wrong way. Unfortunately people go in like bulls
Dont let it deter you.
Forgive them for they know what they do. We are not seperate
and perhaps it was read as that.
Ok ... many English aspects have gone ... but we have now gained a great colourful cosmopolitan one. Which enables us to experience other peoples cultures.
Cheer up.
Incidently I am presuming it was that.
:o) hope to see back ...

Floots, yes ... pondering as one is walking is a great pastime of mine too.
There is always something that catches the eye.
Thanks ... nice to see you here.

its the most peculiar feeling when one gets high on someone else's words, on someone else's feelings. but your words have the untouched magic to achieve just that.
keep writing...
